Articles: St. Thomas (Nashville Scene - October 2002)

With their dusky and disarmingly direct tunes, this Norwegian group give alt-country a good name. Currently in town recording with producer Mark Nevers, they follow up their recent--and excellent--Slow Bar show with a gig at the Red Rose Coffee House in the 'Boro. Sharing the bill is Jeremy Barnes, formerly of Neutral Milk Hotel and Bablicon, who's also serving as drummer for St. Thomas. And watch for The Glorious Return of the Sucks, whose name we misprinted earlier this year in a classic Scene goof. (Use your imagination.) See the Music Note in this issue.
